Turner Construction: New Pittsburgh Office

Turner Construction is the largest domestic contractor in the United States founded in New York City by Henry Chandler Turner in 1902. Tuner is known for taking on complex projects which include mostly large scale buildings and sports stadiums. They pioneered the use of steel-reinforced concrete for general building to create a stronger and safer, more efficient buildings for their clients. The company completes about $15 billion of construction on 1,500 projects each year.

The scope of this project was to provide interior signage and experiential graphics to their new Pittsburgh office located in one of their very own project buildings, which is a landmark of Pittsburgh, the U.S. Steel Tower, or UPMC Building or USX Tower.

I coordinated with the client to tell a story through their room identification as well as their graphics, implementing their history and branding. In addition, I also created the final artwork assets to hand off to the fabricator for production. Shop drawings and installation were reviewed virtually.
